Outdoor Fitness Guide

Getting fit outdoors can be an exhilarating experience, and not only can it be cheaper than going to a gym, but all that fresh air will give you a health boost as well.
There are plenty of ways to get fit outdoors, from rowing through to tennis and this is also a good way of getting fit as a whole family.
1. Walking – walking is great for singles or groups of people, so don’t sit about on the weekends, look around your local area for some nice walking routes and get out and enjoy the fresh air.
2. Swimming – outdoor swimming pools are great in the warmer months, and are often much cheaper, less crowded and less chemically than indoor pools. Go early in the morning to avoid the busiest times, and do at least 20 laps (25 metre pool) to get your heart rate up. Swimming in the sea is even better exercise and very pleasant on hot summer days, so look around for safe swimming beaches in your area.
